Did you catch us on BBC Two with Simon Reeve? Our very own Head of Production Research and Development Dr Carly Daniels invited Simon Reeve to our Hatchery to talk all things lobster!

Exploring and educating on the environmental challenges that Cornwall faces, was of hot topic for this episode, and so, it only seems fitting that The National Lobster Hatchery was included.

Cornwall is facing ever growing hurdles regarding its environment and those who reside there, on land or sea.

Our pioneering lobster stock enhancement project, raising and releasing baby lobsters, we are directly contributing to sustainable fishing practices for our local community. Not only supporting the local economy for fisherman and their lively hood, but the lobster stock in our Cornish waters for many years to come. It was a pleasure to introduce Simon and his team to our weird and wonderful world of lobsters and contribute to this important discussion.
