As we welcome in 2023, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has followed, visited, donated, and supported us in 2022. Everyone at The National Lobster Hatchery (NLH) including our lobsters are extremely grateful that we can continue the amazing work that is carried out by the team .
Here at The NLH we are always looking to the future; This winter we are closing to the public for a short period and dedicating the month of January to installing new displays in our visitor centre. We will also be refreshing our existing facilities, to further enhance the visitor experience. Our doors will shut from the 4th January, and reopen at 10am on the 4th February, ready to welcome you back with open claws.

With February half term and Valentine’s Day following not long after reopening, us and our lobsters will be ready to spread some love. Learn about our lobsters with yours, with ‘You’re My Lobster’ running from the 11th – 18th February. Details and a newly renovated visitor centre coming soon.
