A very important mission has arrived at the National Lobster Hatchery. The animals of Cornwall’s coast have sent us a message – they’re looking for a new team of Happy Habitat Explorers to help discover, protect and celebrate the amazing places they call home.
Your mission can start before you even arrive!
Download your Happy Habitat Explorer Passport, print it at home and get started straight away. Colour in the pages, write your name, and get ready for an adventure packed with fascinating sea creatures, habitat hunts, rockpool discoveries and conservation challenges.
Once you arrive at the Hatchery, your passport becomes your official explorer guide. As you journey around our visitor centre, you’ll uncover incredible marine habitats, meet the animals that live there, complete activities and earn your National Lobster Hatchery stamp.
But your adventure doesn’t stop when you leave! Take your passport to the beach, on family walks or even around your holiday park. Tick off nature challenges, go rockpooling, spot wildlife and discover simple ways you can help protect habitats wherever you are.
