Tor to Shore Big Beach Day: Snorkel Lobster Release
July 29 All day
This National Marine Week, we’re excited to be teaming up with Cornwall Wildlife Trust for the Tor to Shore Big Beach Day at Carlyon Bay.
Join us for a FREE, family-friendly day celebrating Cornwall’s incredible marine wildlife, coastal habitats and the conservation work helping to protect them.
The National Lobster Hatchery will be joining the day with a talk about our conservation work, plus a special snorkel lobster release, giving booked participants the chance to help return young lobsters to the sea.
Across the beach, visitors can also enjoy marine-themed crafts, scavenger hunts, wildlife and conservation talks, silent disco beach cleans and opportunities to learn more about the amazing marine life found right here on our doorstep.
Snorkel lobster release places must be booked in advance. All other beach day activities are open to all, with no booking required.
