Lobster Love: Rick Stein’s

We’re excited to announce that Rick Stein’s Summer of Shellfish campaign has raised a fantastic £8,250 for The National Lobster Hatchery!

This summer, Rick Stein’s restaurants pledged to donate £1 from every lobster and chips sold, combining their love for great seafood with their passion for sustainability and supporting local suppliers, fisherman and causes. Thanks to their generous diners, every bite of lobster and chips this season helped support vital conservation efforts.

Rick Stein’s team has been a long-time supporter of the National Lobster Hatchery, and their commitment to sustainability shines through every year. This summer’s campaign brought together delicious seafood and a worthy cause, creating a recipe for success.

The £8,250 raised through the campaign will go directly towards our conservation efforts. This includes raising and releasing juvenile lobsters into the wild, carrying out essential research, and educating the public about sustainability. Every donation makes a real difference in helping protect the future of our oceans.
